The Royal Challengers look a solid mix of experience and youth. Theirs isn't the most imaginative team name, sounds similar to ICL Chennai Super Stars. This team has many homegrown heroes with appreciable domestic records. Led by the genial VVS Laxman, it would be a surprise if this team doesn't go far. On the face of it, Kings XI have got their hirings desperately wrong. This team seems to have it all – star power, utility, flashers, scroungers, pace and spin.
