IPL Faces Channel Boycott

First the media row threatned to derail now the Channels are protesting that they will force a blanket ban of the IPL if they are not allowed access to the match footage to be telecast on their channels. They are furious that Sony is charging exhorbitant sums for access to small clipping of the matches. A channel boycott can be as bad as the media boycott. So, it back to the negotiating table for Modi and Co. As yet, Modi has refused to get involved saying it is between Sony and the rest. But a black out can mean more damage to IPL than to Sony.
